What a week of play with a total of 14 goals scored. Everyone is still in for the running but also in the golden boot competition, we have more than 5 players fighting it out.

Remember, Please play clean since we all have to work the next day and an injury could end someone's soccer career. From thevideo we did have a serious foul on one of the Bateman Painting players. We can not have those kinds of fouls. Maybe the penalty for the player causing the foul should be increased?

This will be another great ending of the season. The last week of the season will determine the final standings of each team.

Playoff Status Table
TeamStatus
Maidstone  In the playoffs and will be fighting with Bateman for first place
Tortorella Moving up but one win from 4th place. Need to win at least one more match and hope that ED-Tuxpan does not win any more.
Bateman Fighting for first place with Maidstone and are in the playoffs
Tuxpan  If they win one match than they are almost in and it depends on how Espo or Tortorella do
Hampton's If Espo or Tortorella lose next week they are in the playoffs but they are playing Tortorella next week!
Espo They need to win the next match or it could be over for them since they have to play Maidstone. Maidstone should defeat Espo so Espo must win next week or their season is almost over.

Remember, Next week all team fees are due. If you do not bring them in your team will forfeit the match.

Remember, Be the first to score and you have a 73% chance of winning it!

Tortorella takes the Lead

Tortorella had just 7 men but no regular goalie. Leslie Czledko had to step in as keeper. From the start, Tortorella came out strong and would control the half. Czeladko only had to make one save during the first half. Tortorella defense was playing very well. Tortorella scored first when Christian Munoz took the direct kick. Munoz fired the ball through the wall but Mike Semkus of Epso could not hold onto the ball. Right there was Rodolfo of Tortorella who got the ball first and blasted the ball into the net.

Tortorella was able to score again when Marin had the ball and dribbled down the side line. Marin fired the ball to the far side where Stiven Orrego was standing. Orrego got the ball and fired it into the net.

Tortorella Group Dominates Half

During the second half of play, Tortorella had total control of the match. Semkus of Espo had so many saves you did not have enough fingers to count them. Semkus prevented Espo from being blown out of the match. Tortorella was able to score again when Munoz had the ball and dribbled down. Munoz passed the ball to the far side where Orrego was standing. Orrego fired the ball into the net to give himself a second goal.

Espo was able to score on a mistake by Czeladko. The ball is rolling into the goalie box and Czeladko goes to kick it. He produces a weak kick to a defender so that Danny Munoz of Espo was able to intercept it. Once Munoz had the ball, he fires into an empty net to prevent a shut out.

Both sides ended up playing a man down when Jeff Esposito and Daniel Salazar got into an argument with words being exchanged. The referee gave them both a red card.

Even First Half

Play during the first half was about even but Hampton's was able to score first. A ball is passed to Tony Shoshi and Shoshi heads the ball to Cesar Galea at the far side goal post. Galea gets the ball and blasts it into the net to give Hampton's the lead.

ED-Tuxpan was able to tie the match up when Alberto Larios dribbled the ball and passed it off to Nettie Sanchez, who scored.

Hampton's was able to take the lead again when Romulo Tubatan had the ball and passed it off to Shoshi, who was inside the goalie box and scored.

ED-Tuxpan was able to tie up the match before half time. A direct kick is given to ED-Tuxpan with Juan Velazquez taking the kick. The ball goes through the wall and into the net to tie up the match.

Hampton's Takes Control of the Match

Galea was able to score again from about 2 yards out when he received a pass from Shoshi from the far side.

Galea was able to score again when Shoshi passed another ball to him. With that goal, Galea ended up scoring 3 goals for the night.

Romulo was able to score when Shoshi had the ball and dribbled down toward the ED-Tuxpan endline. Shoshi fired the ball into the center of the goal mouth. Jose Reyes came out to grab the ball but the ball went under his arm took a strange bounce heading toward the far side goal post. Standing there was Tubatan, who hit the ball into the net.

Shoshi was able to score his second goal when he had the ball near the side line and dribbled toward the top of the goalie box. At the top of the goalie box, about 16 yards out, Shoshi fired the ball with his left leg into the top right hand corner of the net.

Even Match

During the first half of play, both sides were about even but play was hard. A total of six cards were given out. Maidstone was able to score first when Gehider Garcia had the ball and passed it off to Luis Correa, who from about 7 yards fired into the net to give Maidstone the lead.

Bateman Plays Match Short

During the second half of play, both sides were attacking and at one point Bateman was play with just 5 men due to yellow and red cards. Juan Zuluaga was given a second yellow during the match so that Bateman would have to finish the match a man down. Anyway Bateman was able to score when Jonathan Lizano dribbled the ball and fired a hard shot toward the goal. Maidstone keeper, Alex Mesa could not hold onto the ball and just watched it go past his hands and into the net to tie up the match. A great come back tie for Bateman even when playing a man down.

On November 21st, after checking the video tape, it was ruled that Wilson Betancur yellow card would be changed to a red card due to the aggressive tackle on J. Lizano.
