Both sides were ready to play on this very cold night. Again the game started about 17 minutes late but that only means play ends later and it gets colder. From the first kickoff FC Tuxpan came out attacking which did not take long for them to score. About eight minutes in the first half, Faustino Meza of FC Tuxpan scores. Faustino finds a loose ball inside the Maidstone goalie box. Faustino fires the ball which hits the cross bar to be deflected into the net.

Minutes later, Maidstone Market had taken a shot that hit the cross bar to be deflected into the ground but out to the field, a missed goal.

So with about eight minutes to go in the half, Maidstone was able to tie the game. Justin Carpio hit the ball to Elvis Rojas, who was standing near the penalty kick mark. Rojas gets the ball with plenty of time to turn around and fire the ball into the net. The Maidstone goal damped the wind of FC Tuxpan.

During the second half of play, both sides saw great action with the respective goalies making some great saves. As the action was moving, it was looking as if the game would end up in a draw. With about 18 minutes left in the game, Maidstone scored to take the lead for the first time in the game. The action was near the FC Tuxpan goalie box. Julio Espinal hit the ball into the goalie box to the side of the goal. FC Tuxpan goalie, Wilson Tacuri, along with Espional team mate Justin Carpio ran toward the ball. Tacuri falls down near the ball but was unable to take control. Carpio running toward the ball also, gets it and hits the unguarded far side net.

As the game was moving along with frustration running high for FC Tuxpan, several yellow cards were given out. A one point, FC Tuxpan had only five men on the field. During the time FC Tuxpan was short players, Maidstone was unable to take advantage of the situation.

As play continued with eight minutes left in the game, Maidstone scored again. This time Alberto Nieto had the ball and was able to dribble into the FC Tuxpan goalie box to fire the ball into the far side net past Tacuri.

With time running out, Alberto Nieto hits the ball to team mate Julio Espinal who was open. Julio all alone, fired the ball into an open net. With that goal, Maidstone Market wins another championship game.
